Work your Passion

Don't we all wish we can?
For some, making their passion their work is just a dream. It'll either be un-achievable or if it is achievable, you barely get anything from it to help you with your daily human needs.
Passion for the arts is one example.
Some have passion to write and get to do it, yet they get just enough to get by their daily needs. I'm sure you've heard of starving artists, the arts is full of passion -- making it your work to earn a living isn't ideal for everyone.
If you're lucky, you can get into fashion designing and get a big break or really exceptional clients and you get paid -- you earn, you work your passion.
You can sing and become a Carrie Underwood.
You want to become a visual artist, you get lucky and you get paid and recognized whil you're still alive and reap the benefits of it while you can. Leonardo Da Vinci didn't die rich, the current owners of his works will.
You love photography, you can be a pap -- won't really earn that much unless you get to sneak into Brangelina's newborn twins -- or you can be an Annie Leibovitz and have celebrities calling you saying they want you to take the first public photos of Suri Cruise.
It's a game of chance to work your passion. Then again, it's all about choices. Sometimes we choose to work for our passion, or for practicality reasons.
I'm saying this because I recently quit my job and I've been thinking of what I want to do next.
what are my passions? Yes, I love photography and writing. I also just realized that one of my greatest passion is inspiring people to do good and do their best.
Last week, when my team found out I won't be staying long, they started telling me things they will miss from me -- most of them tell me how they get inspired to work and do their best and walk the extra mile for work because of how I talk to them.
I realized that during those times I do talk to them, I really just enjoying sharing with them my passion for my job and loving what I do. I didn't have to think hard or memorize anything to help them or teach them how to become the best managers because everything I say and teach them comes from my experience and passion.
Now that I'm looking for another job, I want to do just that. Keep inspiring people to do good and go the extra mile. To work because they love the job, they enjoy what they're doing not because of the money or the fame.
If God allows, I can inspire people through my art! hahaha A bit dreamy but hey, as long as I can dream, why not?
