That moment before going to bed...

One of the simple pleasures in life... is that moment before going to bed. When everyone's settled in. Pajamas, or shirt, or what ever you wear to bed. Warm milk, hot cocoa or tea. maybe a book beside you, or just your beloved husband or child.
That moment before going to bed when everything's silent and you start thinking about your day, your week, your life. It's a peaceful moment -- fleeting but peaceful, calm.
That moment when you get to have a little quiet yet meaningful chat with your loved one. When your kids give you a run down of their day in school or day care. When your muscles finally relax for the first time since you woke up.
Sometimes I enjoy this moment too much that I don't want to sleep.
