Snuggle up tight, we're alone tonight

Sleep time that is.
With a kid, married couples rarely get alone times. Our son usually sleeps between us, we don't care much about the Ferber method or what Dr. Spock would say, we're pro-cosleeping. We believe kids can only love sleeping beside their parents while they're young, that's not even half their life so enjoy it as parents.
With that said, husband and I don't get to sleep alone anymore. The hugs while sleeping we used to enjoy sans kiddo were long gone. Every now and then when my sisters or my mom wants to sleep beside their one and only nephew/grandchild they "borrow" him for the night, but that's far in between.
When these happen though, husband and I enjoy it as much as we can. Nope nothing malicious just plain alone time and snuggled sleep. It relaxes us both and we miss it a lot.
Sometimes when our son sleeps on a mattress on the floor, he wakes up in the middle of the night and slips between us and we'd wake up with a short person beside us. Sometimes even short naps in the afternoon is disturbed when my son insists ONLY HE can hug mommy.
(but I do enjoy that favoritism part of course hahaha)
The days or nights we do get to spend alone even if it's just 6 hours of sleep together are one of the most relaxing sleep I get. I'm not sure with hubby coz he sleeps as soundly (sometimes with too loud snores) anytime anyway.
I believe it's also a way to re-connect with your spouse as most married couples with a child/children tend to forget their relationship with each other. I am a testament to that, having these moments alone even just for sleep is the best way for us to just re-align and re-connect.
I wake up feeling light
