It's Black Saturday.
We're in the province with our grandparents and other relatives hanging out together, talking and of course, eating!
In Asia, where street foods are common, and with all the spices available here, everything is just an adventure for the taste buds.
While our grandma and moms are cooking a big dinner, some of my cousins went out to look for something on the streets.
Street food here vary from something as simple as boiled duck eggs deep fried in orange batter to something NOT for the picky eaters -- chicken intestines
They bought a whole bunch of these plus ice cream sundaes from the nearest fastfood and brought them back home for all of us to enjoy.
It's Saturday. Everyone's on a Holy Week holiday. No work, no school, nothing to worry about.
Street food enjoyed with family on a lazy saturday afternoon. Chit chats and updates on each one's lives. Someone's going to college, another just graduated from grade school. One's going to the US in 9 days and the others are going for a beach trip in 2 weeks. He's in love with a girl, she just broke up with her boyfriend. pictures and laughters are shared.
