Sleeping Child

We're about to go to bed and the little guy's gone ahead of us after getting too excited with the toys we recently bought.
Hubby was watching him sleeping while I was brushing my teeth.
"There's something about watching a child, especially your child sleep... something very soothing and calming about it" he suddenly blurted out.
Yeah, he's right. No matter how much they annoy you when they're awake, you love seeing and watching them sleep, not because it gives you some time off from their sometimes pesky questions, but there is just something about a sleeping child. A sense of comfort and peace.
I know parents usually say children look like angels when they're asleep most of the time they mean "finally some alone and quiet time." It is true though. They look like angels when asleep just careless peaceful little creatures resting their little limbs and vocal cords for another stretch of crazy childhood ... until they get utterly tired again and doze off
Now it's my time to get some peace and quiet... and a much needed sleep.

although when they get a bit older, they can stress you out too lol
