Everyday I go to CNN.com to find out what's happening around the world. Unfortunately, if it's not something sad, it's something tragic, disturbing or disgusting even. This is why I started this blog. This blog is all about feel good stories. sappy, yeah but we can all use one every now and then. Things that can lift us high above the clouds. :) ss_blog_claim=fb3c65eb182fdd37ae437a694d2ea7d5

People Inspiring People Inspiring People

July 26th 2008 16:47
I have just finished reading J.K. Rowling's Commencement Address for the Harvard Class of 2008. Thanks to Amy Huang's post, which lead me to Joanne Fedler's post. Forgive me for back tracking, but need to give proper credit

I truly enjoyed that speech. It was inspiring. At the very least, it was full of hope. I tried to imagine myself as a 21 year old, the age she was talking to that time, and she understands that at that age-- failure is very seldom understood, maybe even understated. True that she mentioned what more for a Harvard graduate -- what is failure to a harvard graduate?

I love J.K. Rowling because of how she made it to this business. How she got successful started with years of life at rock bottom. She mentioned how the "classics" inspired her, just as much as working for Amnesty International did.

Now, she's doing just that. Inspiring other people with her own stories of she herself was inspired. I'm sure there are so many other people, aspiring writers or children wanting to make it big who look up to Rowling for inspiration. She's doing a very good job at it and she's continuouslyl showing everyone who do, how to do the same to other people.

I love inspiring people and hearing inspirational stories of people, especially those close to me. I learned to inspire other people because of how my former boss has inspired me.

If people keep inspiring other people .. we'd be full of inspiration all around! lol
