Passion to Inspire

This week I started working for a new company, on a per project basis. A friend of mine worked for this company before he got his Masters scholarship for Poland and Germany. The owner of the company loved his work so she paid for his ticket back here for the summer to help her with some projects she couldn't handle herself.
He on the other hand, learning that I just quit my job and knew that I fit the job description recommended me to the owner and a weekend after, I was working with him on a presentation.
It's a small company with big clients doing management consulting. Err, i really did not know what "consultants" do, and a little less than a week since I got here, I'm still a bit confused.
What I do love about this place is that, it's doing what I LOVE doing. Creating better leaders and managers for a company.
Before I left my previous company, I was training and helping my Managers become better at what they're doing through one-on-one coachings and sharing of my experiences and my previous bosses'. I realized that it's something I LOVE doing. I enjoy seeing them succeed, I enjoy seeing my plans for them succeed too.
I wrote before how I get this sense of fulfillment knowing I was a part of their successes and achievements, especially when I'm recognized or thought of when they get to their goals. Now, I'm watching the owner who's also the head/executive coach/consultant in the company and what she does is something I'd love to be doing too in the future.
Of course, with her she's had at least 20 years of experience doing this... i've only had about 5
75% more!
I also enjoyed the huge collection of Leadership, Management, Training, etc books she has on her library. Things that I could only look at in bookstorese because these books are soooo damn expensive. Now I can read them, borrow them for 2 weeks and learn from it as much as I can... even if my current project has nothing to do with whatever I'm reading (or want to read).
I hate going to school, but I have a passion for learning and motivating and inspiring people. There's a difference from learning by yourself and learning from school. I hate the formalities of the school and all that structure. I love the application that goes with learning from books and applying it in your life/business.
Now... If only the office isn't an hour's drive away from home...
