Nice chatting with you
August 18th 2008 01:26
For a few months now, my husband and I are battling a storm. A storm that we're not necessarily battling together, in fact, it started out because we were battling each other.
We're a very young married couple, in this marriage for less than 5 years and I guess it's only but normal that we're experiencing. It's tough and extremely painful and heartbreaking but it's a storm I'm quite sure we have to experience for us to realize each other's worth.
Months back things were so bad that we couldn't hold a conversation without yelling towards the end or someon crying towards the end, worse even leaving or walking out.
for a few weeks now, things have been changing (I'm praying it will progress this way). We went to church yesterday and went for a quick dinner. During dinner, apart from the civil conversations we've been having we had a little fun chat.
Talked about Harry Potter trivias which he knows so much of. To begin with my husband NEVER read Harry Potter before. he wasn't at all interested until I MADE him watch the 3rd movie when I was pregnant. From then on, he knew MORE than I did!!!
We had a nice chat last night and it's one of those "happy moments" of mine lately. I've been so down for so long that I'm rejoicing about it.
Praying things will continue going uphill...
