PhotoTherapy

While I was chatting with a friend over dinner about life, marriage, love and men in our lives, I was with my Nikon D40 experimenting with shots. She told me that while she was getting over her ex-boyfriend-of-8-years-and-f ather-to-her-child she would go to the University of the Philippines (which is open to anyone) and hang out under a tree reading a book, listening to music or just plain people watching.
She said it became her therapy -- as well as eating so much sweets.
When she saw that I've been tagging my camera along with me everytime we meet for dinner or whatever, she pointed out that THIS is my therapy.
No I am not getting over my husband, but our marriage is on a limbo and there's as much pain as she had when she was getting over her boyfriend.
True, I've been lugging my camera everywhere nowadays, taking shots of almost anything and "getting to know" my camera (which I have yet to name..).
To be quite honest, it has been helpful having something like this camera, or in her case her sweets and the tree to "go to" when you just want to forget or not think about anything.
I am not a great photographer but I do enjoy taking pictures and well.. trying to be creative. I still can't be as creative as my husband who seems to have an eye for this.
I still enjoy it and it's a great therapy for me!
Here are a few shots I've taken the past few days that i really loved...
